The d3o enhanced protective shirt uses the low profile and high shock absorbing d3o on the shoulders and light weight ventilated EVA padding on the ribs. d3o padding is pre-curved and designed to wrap around the shoulders of the player. The EVA rib padding is grooved to provide maximum mobility and zero restriction.
d3o is a patented and unique impact protection system, which results from a combination of enhanced chemistry, engineering and design. The material contains intelligent molecules that flow freely when moving but on shock lock together to absorb impact energy, instantly returning to their flexible state. d3o does not go hard when hit, the molecules lock together to absorb and spread the force, significantly reducing the effect of impact. d3o offers total flexibility, comfort and protection and integrates seamlessly into garments, meaning neither the style nor the function are compromised. d3o components are perforated for breathability and are machine washable.
