Helmet Features:
TPU Combo Cushioning System
The Recruit Hybrid+ features a powerful combination of TPU Cushioning and vinyl-nitrile padding, giving you great performance and value. The front and crown cushions are TPU (thermoplastic urethane). TPU Cushioning dramatically outperforms traditional foam padding in game-like conditions, giving you better impact absorption, better heat management and better hygienics. The back and side pads are impact-absorbing vinyl-nitrile. Everything is treated with an aggressive, anti-microbial agent that resists the growth of mold, mildew, fungus and other bacteria.

TPU Front and Crown Cushions: The heart and soul of the helmet - better impact absorption than traditional foam padding, plus better heat management and better hygienics.

Vinyl-nitrile Side and Back padding: Impact absorbing padding system.

SURE FIT Air Liner
Taking the performance and value of the Recruit Hybrid one step further, the Recruit Hybrid+ adds on our exclusive SUREFIT Air Liner. The two-piece system is the principal reason Schutt youth helmets are renowned for their comfort and fit. It features two inflation ports and is made from a soft but durable anti-microbial material.

Valve Attachment System
This new hook and loop attachment system locks the inflation valves into place. There's no more struggling to keep the valve lined up with the helmet shell.

Large Standoff Helmet Shell
One of the most recognizable helmets on any football field, the Recruit Hybrid+ is made from lighter, ABS plastic, specifically for young players. It's a large standoff helmet (like the Youth DNA Pro+) and features maximum space for packing in more (and bigger) TPU Cushioning. That maximizes your performance and protection.

AiR Maxx TPU Jaw Pads
Leveraging the same great technology from our helmet cushioning system, these new jaw pads from Schutt are standard on all our youth TPU helmets, as well as the Hybrid+ and Hybrid series. Combining the protection of TPU with the comfort and fit of a soft, vinyl-covered jaw pad, the open sided AiR Maxx TPU jaw pads also do a great job of pulling cool air into your helmet - maximizing air circulation.

Standard Accessories:
- The Recruit Hybrid+ features a pair of 1 1/8" AiR Maxx TPU Jaw Pads.
- Also standard is the Schutt traditional soft cup chin strap (#7713).
