A powerful combination of Single Layer Dual Compression TPU Cushioning and patented D3O technology means you get the advanced technology of TPU in the front and crown - and the protection of D3O® in the sides and back - all in the same helmet.
Single Layer Dual Compression TPU
The newest generation of our patented TPU Cushioning System, Single Layer Dual Compression TPU is a ribbed system, constructed in only one layer, that delivers BETTER impact absorption while reducing overall weight. Single Layer Dual Compression TPU absorbs both high velocity, violent impacts, as well as the low velocity impacts that occur on nearly every play.
D3O® Energy Lock Technology
Lightweight, Flexible, Breathable D3O® is a patented, lightweight impact protection technology with a unique molecular structure allowing it to remain soft and flexible in its natural state. Upon impact, however, the molecules in D3O® lock together to absorb and disperse impact energy, reducing the force transmitted and instantly returning to its natural state.
Traditional Standoff Shell
The XP Hybrid+ combines the classic, traditional helmet shape many of today's coaches and players still prefer, with the unmatched impact protection of TPU Cushioning. The Best-In-Class combination of lightweight performance and maximum protection.
Comfort Liner
This re-designed comfort liner now features additional surface coverage and more comfort foam inside the liner. The changes add durability and a "soft, pillow-like" feeling to the helmet.

Great product my kid loves it

Everything with Epic and my ordering was excellent. My complaint is with youth helmets in general. There is no consistency between brands and even the same brand but within model changes. Just needed to vent that. Schutt helmets are great and we have numerous kids in our program so we can get a kid in a helmet. Just wish there was consistency! Epic was great and look forward to ordering from them again!

These helmets were great in impact and my kids said it felt like a cushion around their heads. Size kind of ran small though.
