XRS-21 Facemask:
Xenith facemasks are made of carbon steel to ensure strength and are comparable in weight to other carbon steel facemasks. All Xenith facemasks will accommodate any name brand eye shield or visor. The X2 should only be fitted with Xenith facemasks, and only Xenith facemask clips should be used.
Our Adaptive Head Protection® system integrates advanced technologies designed to minimize impact:
Fit Seeker®: This system adapts to the head in three separate areas, which creates a custom fit instantly - without the need for pumps. Fit Seeker® also helps keep the helmet secure during impact, so it stays on and stays where it should. There is no better fit system in the industry.
Shock Bonnet®: This system adapts to the hit itself. It minimizes the sudden jolt of the head, thereby minimizing the risk of injury. An average football helmet relies only on dense padding, but Shock Bonnet® features adaptive Aware-Flow® shock absorbers that adapt to the energy of the impact. This results in superior protection against all hits.
Not unlike car airbags, our Aware-Flow® Shock Absorbers compress and vent air as the impact happens. This minimizes head movement and allows for an optimized response to hits of different energy levels. Xenith was the first football helmet designer to introduce this type of bonnet suspension system, focusing on the importance of low-to-medium energy impacts, as well as high-energy hits.

The helmet is perfect for anyone wanting the best protection out there. It fits my son great and the construction of this product is what makes it the best. It is designed to lesson impact to the head by it's unique inner bonnet of the helmet. I highly recommend this to any football player...
