Weighing in at an astonishing 2.6 lbs, the Youth AiR XP Ultra-Lite is the first youth helmet we've ever offered at such a low weight-and that includes the helmet shell, the TPU cushioning and the faceguard! With no compromises in performance or impact absorption!
TPU Cushioning
The patented cushioning system is the most advanced impact absorption system in the game. TPU cushioning absorbs impact more consistently across a wider range of temperatures than traditional foam padding and other padding systems-whose performance deteriorates in temperature extremes. TPU cushioning gives you better impact absorption, better heat management and better hygienics.
Mechanically Attached TPU
No more tape. No more hook and loop to mess with. We're now attaching the TPU mechanically. Not only does that hold the TPU securely in place, it also allows us to put thicker TPU cushions in the helmet, increasing impact absorption significantly.
Titanium Faceguard
Titanium faceguards are lightweight and powerful, they're up to an astounding 60% lighter than carbon steel faceguards and stronger than stainless steel. And one comes standard on every Youth AiR XP Ultra-Lite!
Surefit Ventilated Air Liner
The comfort of a SUREFIT liner with added ventilation-to make it even more lightweight. Get the precise, custom fit you demand with increased air flow and lighter weight.
