The patented cushioning system is the most advanced impact absorption system in the game. TPU Cushioning absorbs impact more consistently across a wider range of temperatures than traditional foam padding and other padding systems-whose performance deteriorates in temperature extremes. TPU Cushioning gives you better impact absorption, better heat management and better hygienics.
Mechanically Attached TPU
No more tape. No more hook & loop to mess with. Schutt is now attaching the TPU mechanically. Not only does that hold the TPU securely in place, it allows for thicker TPU Cushions in the helmet, increasing impact absorption significantly.
Surefit Ventilated Air Liner
The comfort of a SUREFIT liner with added ventilation-to make it even more lightweight! Get the precise, custom fit you demand with increased air flow and lighter weight.
Traditional Standoff Shell
Unlike large standoff helmets, the traditional standoff helmet has a smaller space between the player' s head and the helmet shell. Traditional standoff helmets tend to be the classic, traditional helmets you've grown up with-like the helmets in our AiR XP family of helmets and the AiR Standard III. But the TPU cushioning in our traditional standoff helmets mean they absorb more impact than other most large standoff helmets.
