Hybrid TPU Cushioning
A powerful combination of TPU Cushioning and vinyl nitrile padding means you get the advanced technology of TPU in the highest impact areas-the front and the crown. Vinyl nitrile padding is on the sides and back. Hybrid TPU cushioning is a great package of protection at a great value.
Mechanically Attached TPU
No more tape. No hook and loop to mess with. Schutt is now attaching the TPU mechanically. Not only does that hold the TPU securely in place but it allows for thicker TPU cushions in the helmet, increasing impact absorption significantly
New Comfort Liner
This all new non-inflatable liner helps make the helmet more comfortable and gives the player a better fit
Large Standoff Shell
A helmet's standoff is the space between the players head and the helmet shell. Large standoff helmets allow us to insert thicker TPU cushioning, which means greater impact absorption and better performance. All Schutt Helmets except the AiR XP family of helmets and the AiR Standard III, are large standoff helmets.
