Coupled with Rawlings Heat Exchange™ technology, the new NRG Momentum™ Plus now features a C3™ customizable inflation liner for additional comfort and improved fit. With the rear inflation port, young athletes will have the ability to properly adjust this helmet to their unique size.

If your child has more of a round head go for this helmet. I first purchased the nrg force but the shape was narrow at the temples and designed for more of an egg shaped head. My son loves this helmet, no excessive wiggle and he feels very confident with it. He did use the nrg force helmet for one practice and there was a big difference in his comfort. As far as quality they are both from the same company so one is not superior, more of how they are molded. They should do a better job of describing fitment. He's using this helmet going on two months and no complaints so far.
