Im a 230 lb linebacker and ofensive tackle. The Adams 1 inch is far superior to the 1/4 inch pad. I had a shoulder injury and the brutal pounding was taking a toll. The Adams 291-1 allows me to hit at full fource the whole game and still be able to lift and practice during the week. Epic Sports is fast to ship!!!!!
