Seems to run a little small. I use these not for football, but for additional padding in SCA medieval fighting. Keeps pads nice and tight. Strong fabric - tends to be a little hot. No provision for straps or snaps - pads held (securely) in place with fabric pockets. Excellent inexpensive protection for side femur, pelvis and coccyx.
